Two May Events Successful

The Military Spouse Appreciation Event at Ft Sam Houston and Texas Public Radio Silver Solutions Event both proved to be exciting ventures for MyGoodbye.com as we were able to witness first hand how consumers reacted to our initial product.  "I was overwhelmed by the positive response for the service MyGoodbye.com provides families.  Adult Children were especially enthusiastic about a way to keep their parent's story alive for generations to come."  We were able to give away several Legacy Plan accounts and look forward to how these will benefit the winners' families in the future. 

Launch Into Test Market Announced

By providing easy to use online templates, we are enabling families to build a community for celebrating their loved one’s life. Our simple to use Legacy Plans allow individuals to create and store information for their future end of life needs and Online Memorial. We believe that by utilizing these two services each of us can have the goodbye of a lifetime. Because in the end, saying goodbye is worth saying well.

Secretary of State Issues Trademark

Hope Andrade, Secretary of the State of Texas granted a Trademark for MyGoodbye.com today, securing the protection of the company's future transactions in the end of life industry. MyGoodbye.com LLC provides a revolutionary approach to the funeral industry by providing tools and templates to prepare and plan for funeral needs in the privacy of your own home. The company is set to launch into the San Antonio test market next month.

Shirley Walker, president of MyGoodbye.com announced today that she is one step closer to the launch of MyGoodbye.com, having received news that the certificate of formation has been filed with the state.  "As with each part of the development process, we have sought to position MyGoodbye.com as an online end of life service provider marked by excellence and credibility.  Operating as a Limited Liability Corporation in the state of Texas provides a definite platform to help us reach these goals."

Pocket Knife Software Selected to Build Site

After nearly a year of searching for the perfect fit, Shirley Walker announces that she has teamed up with Rick Cockerham of Pocket Knife Software to build out the MyGoodbye.com site.  Pocket Knife is based in Austin, Texas and is known for their ability to take the complicated and make it user friendly.  "We knew we needed a great deal of expertise to create a website that would be user friendly for non-techies, which made me the perfect test case.  I was impressed with another project of Rick's aimed at an older market, Evergreenclub.com.  We are committed to investing in MyGoodbye.com to provide an online enviroment that has the level of excellence and dignity this subject deserves."
