INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Personal information refers to specific facts used to identify you as an individual. This information includes your name, address, telephone number, email address, or other individually identifiable information. MyGoodbye.com collects personal information only when you supply it to us, such as when you create an account.
If you use MyGoodbye.com for pre-planning, you may also provide additional information about yourself. This information is not shared except with the MyGoodbye.com Executor(s) that you designate to access your account at the time of your death. Their access requires the use of an authorization code which you must personally have provided them.
It's also important to note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to information that you post, yourself, in public areas of MyGoodbye.com. For example, if you choose to let other people see your name and your answers to profile questions, or if you post information or comments on our Tribute Wall, that information will be made public. Your messages and other information you make available in public areas of MyGoodbye.com will be seen by people and organizations not related to or controlled by us, and may be used by others to contact you.
In addition, information which you send via email, Twitter® or Facebook® is not archived on our site, nor are we responsible for content so distributed. Please refer to the corresponding companies regarding their policies.
To monitor our site’s effectiveness, we collect anonymous, non-personal data about the pages you go to through the use of cookies--small files that are placed on your computer's hard drive. Each cookie is automatically deleted after a period of time.

This Privacy Policy applies only to MyGoodbye.com and not to other companies’ or organizations’ Web sites to which we link. You may opt out of receiving future mailings or other information from MyGoodbye.com. If the mailing does not have an email cancellation form, send an email to Contact@MyGoodbye.com detailing the type of information that you no longer wish to receive.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY POLICY
MyGoodbye.com, Inc. does not intentionally collect from or maintain Personally Identifiable Information of children under the age of 13, nor do we offer any content targeted to such children.
• MyGoodbye.com strongly encourages parents and guardians to supervise their children’s online activities and consider using parental control tools available from online services and software manufacturers to help provide a child-friendly online environment. These tools also can prevent children from disclosing online their name, address, and other personal information without parental permission.
• Personally Identifiable Information collected from children may include any of the information defined above as Personally Identifiable Information with respect to general users of the Services and may be used by MyGoodbye.com. for the same purposes.
